Group affiliation

Reuseit Sweden AB is part of the Elanders Group. As part of the group’s internal administrative and technical processes, personal data may in some cases also be processed by other companies within the Elanders Group, for example for IT operations and system maintenance, financial administration, internal reporting, regulatory compliance and group-wide security measures.

If you consent to call recording when contacting our hotline, we will record your call. Consent is provided via the automated voice system and documented together with relevant communication data. Recordings are used for training and quality assurance purposes to improve our services.

c) Registration (online account)

We offer you the option to create a customer account on our website in order to manage orders more easily and use our services. Registration is voluntary. You may also place orders without creating an account (guest checkout). If you choose to register an account, we process only the personal data you provide during registration in order to deliver the account services.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (processing necessary for the performance of a contract).

We collect only the data necessary for the functionality of the account and the execution of your orders.

d) Surveys and personalised information via newsletter

If you have given your consent, Reuseit will send you personalised information by email about products, services, offers, current campaigns, competitions and surveys tailored to your interests.

For this purpose, we process personal data including:

    • Information about your purchasing behaviour (e.g. purchases, products, prices, payment method, cart interactions)
    • Response data (e.g. newsletter open and click rates, campaign interactions)
    • Survey information and product reviews

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) and Article 7 GDPR (consent).

You may unsubscribe from our mailings at any time and withdraw your consent with effect for the future. Each email also contains an unsubscribe link.

e) Email marketing based on previous purchases

We may send you information about our own similar goods and services to your email address if you have purchased goods or services from our website.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in conjunction with applicable marketing legislation).

You may object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes at any time.

f) Statistical analysis, abuse prevention and legal claims

We process personal data to create statistical analyses to improve our products and services. Data is pseudonymised and not evaluated on an individual level.

Processing may also be necessary to ensure IT security, prevent misuse and investigate criminal activities, and to comply with legal obligations or defend legal claims.

g) Fraud prevention and credit checks

During the payment process, we process information provided by you and your website activity to detect and prevent fraud. Data may be stored and analysed in fraud prevention systems.

For credit card payments, transaction-based security checks are carried out via payment service providers such as Klarna AB. We do not store credit card or bank account numbers.

If you choose financing or invoice payment, the financing partner may obtain a credit report based on statistical methods (scoring). Decisions are made exclusively by automated processes of the payment provider.

h) Product reviews

We process information you provide when submitting a product review in order to display the review in the Reuseit online shop and in relevant Google search results. Data is also used to notify you of the review status and to associate removal requests with the original author.

You may request removal of your review at any time.

i) Service and website reviews (Trustpilot)

We use Trustpilot A/S to collect and display reviews of our services and website.

When you submit a review via Trustpilot(Pilestraede 58, 5., 1112 Kopenhagen, Dänemark), Trustpilot acts as the data controller in accordance with its own privacy policy. Reuseit processes personal data in connection with sending review invitations and improving customer service.

4. What Personal Data Do We Process?

When you purchase products on reuseit.se, we collect and generate personal data necessary to complete the transaction, including:

  • Payment method
